Thumbelina: A Swallow's Tale is a new musical version of the Hans Christian Anderson story.

In this magical production, a swallow tells the story of Thumbelina, a tiny girl grown from a seed, who believes she is simply too different ever to fit in. As she journeys through an oversized world, she has many adventures, encountering characters like Mrs Toad, Monsieur Maybug and Flutter Butterfly along the way.

Staged through dance and song by a combination of actors and puppets, this is a fun, fantastical musical that's sure to enchant children (6+) and adults alike. A pre-show workshop helps children get the most from the production with an opportunity to meet the characters at the end.

A touching coming-of-age story with the message that anyone can find their place in the world with enough courage and perseverance.
